Description : This involves the usage of tools like JavaTest to write tests for testing  the various claims of the Java Development Kit ( JDK 1.1.7 and JDK 1.2 ). The actual work is   writing  code in Java language on  Windows NT and Windows'95 platforms to test the various claims of JDK. The idea is to write wrapper classes to instantiate the JDK classes and invoke each API with an entire range of input values like normal, boundary and error conditions.
Responsibilities :
· Study the JavaTest tool
· Developement of the testcases ( EventObject, LinkedList, Collections and NoSuchElementException classes done so far).
 
• Project Name : NLV Enablement Testing of Netscape Communicator  4.5 on Windows

Duration : 3 months

Description : The scope of the this project included development of test cases for NLV enablement testing of Netscape Communicator 4.5 on Windows(95/98/NT).  As such, the test case development concentrated on NLV-related aspects of Communicator only and did not dwell at length on functional aspects. At IBM  Pune , we  developed the  complete set of test cases .
Responsibilities :
· Development of the test cases for Browser Bookmarks, Browser Internals
·  Modification of the test cases for Browser UI and Security.
·  Installation of CVS for version control of project documents and modifications in test cases.
· Testing Browser UI , Roaming Access and  Bookmarks  on various Windows platforms.

• Project Name : OS2Netscape

Description : IBM, Austin is porting Netscape Communicator 4.04 on OS/2. The objective of the project was to modify and generate the test cases and test eighteen language versions of Netscape Communicator 4.04 on five different OS/2 platforms.

· Development and Modification of the test cases for Printing and HTML.
· Testing Printing, HTML and Mail on various OS/2 platforms.
· Logging and Tracking of defects through CMVC

• Project Name: Manufacturing - 'Equipment Tracking System'

The system was developed for Asset Management i.e. to create a database containing  information about computer(its location,type of the monitor,memory available,softwares installed etc.)and its related peripherals (mouse,printer etc and their details.  The developement was done in forms 3.0 (Unix Platform). Reports were generated through SQR.
